Cone jet valves (Hollow Bunger Types)
Cone jet valves are used in dam bottom outlets for energy dissipation. The valves feature cavitation-free operation over a wide control range and allow energy dissipation of large flows and heads with simultaneous oxygen enrichment of the water. Cone jet valves are mainly steel-welded and are actuated either hydraulically or electromechanically.
